Meet Lanie

Hi, I’m Lanie — real estate agent, fixer-upper enthusiast, homestead dreamer, and proud owner of more muck boots than high heels. I help folks in the High Country of North Carolina find their perfect slice of mountain living — whether that’s a cozy cabin, a fixer-upper farmhouse, or a little acreage to call their own.

I moved to NC 16 years ago to escape the city sprawl of Chicago and never looked back. After bouncing from the Sandhills, Coastal, and Piedmont areas, I finally planted roots in the High Country — and discovered that life is better with fresh air, mountain views, and yes, chickens.

Now that the kids are grown and the grandbabies are arriving faster than I can build their playhouses, and now the hubby and I are full-on empty-nesters… we are deep into our next adventure: homesteading. Between remodeling our farmhouse, wrangling goats, and planning the garden of our dreams, I know a thing or two about turning a property into a home — and I love helping my clients do the same.
